For people who read to get somewhere

You read to get ahead.
But how much of it is still there next month?

You highlight exactly the passages that land with you. Then you close the app and never see them again. Book2Brain fetches them from your Kindle and puts them back in front of you, until they actually stick.

Study 1/5

You have power over your mind — not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.

The whole book in one sentence.

Meditations · Marcus Aurelius

How often should this come back?

Go on — press one.

You can use it in your browser today — nothing to install. The iPhone and Android apps arrive in the next few days.

The problem is not that you read too little

It is that reading feels like progress, and almost none of it stays.

You highlight diligently. And then?

The highlight goes into a notebook you never open. It was the moment something made sense to you — and that is where it ends.

Reading once was never enough, and you know it

A thought you read once is gone within days. Not because it was weak, but because once was never going to be enough.

Nobody copies out their notes twice

Export, paste into a notes app, build flashcards: works for exactly one week. What does not run by itself does not run.

Your highlights are already there. They are just lying still.

Everything you ever marked on your Kindle sits in your Amazon account. Book2Brain brings it out and turns it into something that finds you — rather than waiting to be looked for.

Three steps, then it runs by itself

No export, no file, no browser plugin that has to stay open.

1
Connect once

You sign in to Amazon once — on their own page, we never see your password. After that the server fetches your highlights on its own, even with your computer switched off.

2
Pick your books

Not every book needs to be in the rotation. You decide which ones are, and you can change your mind without losing progress.

3
A few minutes a day

A passage appears, you read it, and one tap says how often it should come back. Five seconds a card.

No quizzing. You set the frequency.

Book2Brain does not test you and does not grade you. It only asks how much attention a passage deserves — and follows that.

Rarely
Seldom
Sometimes
Often
Constantly

And because there are no due dates, nothing piles up: two weeks away does not leave a heap of "overdue" cards. What matters to you still comes round far more often than the rest.

What you are probably asking

Do you need my Amazon password?

No. You sign in on Amazon’s own page. What we keep is the session that comes out of it, encrypted — and you can disconnect it whenever you like.

Does my computer have to be running?

Only for the one-time sign-in. After that the server fetches your highlights itself. Other tools need a browser extension left open; this one does not.

I have highlighted 50 books already. Will it bury me?

No. After the first sync you are asked which books should be in the rotation at all, and you set a daily goal — three cards is a valid day.

Does it work with my own PDFs?

No, and that is not down to us: highlights in PDFs and EPUBs you sent yourself never reach Amazon’s cloud. It works with books you bought from Amazon.

Is there a phone app?

Book2Brain runs in the browser today — on a computer and on a phone, with nothing to install. The iPhone and Android apps are finished and waiting for store approval; you will find them here as soon as they land.

What does it cost?

Book2Brain is free — connect your Kindle, pick your books and study, without paying. If you want more, Pro is 2,99 € a month or 14,99 € a year, cancellable any time. You do not need it to try this out.

What happens if I stop?

Your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. Disconnect Amazon and we delete the synced books and highlights — no copy of your reading stays with us.

Are you part of Amazon?

No, Book2Brain is independent. We read the same notebook page Amazon already shows you — just regularly, instead of never.

What you highlighted mattered to you

You would not have highlighted it otherwise. Take it back — in a few minutes a day, free.
